Confusion over CPD programmes: Property Professional – 24 March 2025
Two weeks ago, we reported that Charter Academy has partnered with Rebosa to present a [CPD] programme, offering the real estate industry an alternative to the PPRA’s CPD programme.
Agents now have a choice which programme to register for as both programmes ensures compliance with the CPD requirements of the PPRA.
Misleading information
“It has come to our attention that someone is wilfully misleading estate agents by spreading a rumour that Charter Academy’s accreditation to offer CPD training is not official. This is completely false, as can be seen by the certificate supplied by the PPRA in this regard. Agents are advised to disregard the rumour and contact Charter directly with any questions,” advises Jan le Roux, CEO of Rebosa.
Le Roux goes on to mention that the registration process has been very successful and that agents can make use of a special discounted R1,400 all-inclusive offer if they register before or on Monday, 31 March, saving R300.
