Selling a property is a big deal, but there could be a significant problem if you don’t receive any good offers within 30 to 60 days.
This is according to the manager for Seeff Centurion’s Tiaan Pretorius, who said something may be wrong if a property does not receive any appropriate offers within the first month or two.
Reason #1 – The price is too high.
Reason #2 – The market is slow.
Reason #3 – The property is not well presented.
Reason #4 – It is not a great location.
Reason #5 – The property is overcapitalised.
Reason #6 – Security concerns.
Reason #7 – Complex levies and rules.
Reason #8 – Title deed limitations.
Reason #9 – Suspensive conditions.
