Notice Board - The PPRA

 

The Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) is the regulatory body responsible for overseeing the property industry in South Africa. Established under the Property Practitioners Act No. 22 of 2019, the PPRA aims to ensure that property transactions are conducted in a fair, transparent, and ethical manner.

 

Some of its key responsibilities include:

  • Licensing and Registration: Ensuring that property practitioners are properly registered and licensed.
  • Education and Training: Promoting continuous professional development and setting standards for education within the industry.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Investigating complaints and taking disciplinary actions against property practitioners who violate regulations.
